Russ E. Boltz
Principal
Russ is a 1969 graduate of Kalamazoo College, in
Kalamazoo, Michigan, and a 1972 graduate of the
University of Notre Dame Law School, where he cheered
several national championship teams "onwards to
victory," and hopes, in this lifetime, to do so again. He
was first admitted to the practice of law in Michigan in
1972, and then in the District of Columbia in 1977 and
California in 1990, as well as a number of federal district
and appellate courts, including the United States
Supreme Court. His practice areas include business
law and litigation, family law, appellate practice, and
alternative dispute resolution (including mediation and
arbitration). Russ is a recognized authority in
international arbitration, and is an Associate of the
Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, England. He
resides in Laguna Beach with his wife Sharon, where
they pursue interests in their spare time including
gardening and long distance backpacking.

Marc K. Shaye
Of Counsel
Marc K. Shaye is Of Counsel to the Firm, and is
admitted to practice in Ohio, the District of Columbia and
Michigan as well as numerous federal courts including
the United States Supreme Court. He is a 1965 graduate
of the University of Michigan and received his Juris
Doctor in 1969 from Wayne State University Law School.
Marc practices primarily in the areas of environmental
and natural resources law, occupational safety and health
matters, entertainment industry issues, and trade
associations and trade/service mark law. He is
registered by the California EPA as an Environmental
Assessor I and is a Certified Professional Environmental
Auditor designated by the Board of Environmental, Health
& Safety Auditor Certifications. Marc has written
extensively and, despite a well-deserved reputation for
modesty, will gladly share his writings on request., one of

Information Assistant
Neville - or "Nev" - Grow is an experienced information
manager, with a wide background in library and
information retrieval systems for major corporatiions,
educational institutions and private law organiztions. He
holds multiple bachelors and masters degrees in
library/information management, and works with the Firm
to assist in legal and factual research and information
management.
